He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clarence Dornberger and Dorothy Dornberger (Kuhlmann); his nephew Jeff Tankersley; his spouse Shirley Schwindenhammer; his daughters, Carrie Dornberger of Bartonville and Bethany Dornberger of Bartonville; his granddaughters, Lauren of Indiana and Elizabeth Franklin of Indiana; his siblings, Paul Dornberger (Sally) of Geneva and Doris Dornberger of Lombard, IL; and his niece Sarah Dornberger of Switzerland.
