He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Parsons and Kathryn Parsons of Jamestown; and his siblings, Raymond Parsons of Persia, Gary Parsons of Jamestown, Clara Stegmaier, Ruby Conn of Jamestown and Evelyn Tholstrup of Concordia, Kansas..

He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his children, Timothy and Tammy; his grandchildren, Stephanie Kuzelka, Joshua Parsons, Taylor, Hunter and Addisen Petersen; his great grandchildren, Mia, Rylee Kuzelka and Colson Parsons; and his sisters, Donna Lefort of Salina, Mary Newton of Prairie Grove and Sandra Pae. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Immanuel United Church of Christ 415 W North Ave, Bartlett, IL 60103 would be appreciated.
