Ruth Mary Rakers Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Mary Rakers of Aviston, Illinois, who passed away on January 14, 2022 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Schulte and Marie Schulte (Haar); her parents-in-law, Tony and Leona Rakers; her brothers, Roger Schulte, Robert Schulte and Raymond Schulte; her siblings-in-law, Barb Schulte, Margie Heinzmann, Walter Rakers (Peepers) and Thomas O'Brien; her nephews, Matthew Jackson, Chad Schulte and Matthew Heinzmann; her granddaughter Michaela Rose Kampwerth; and her great grandchild Richard Michael Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Kristine Johnson-Oster (Jeff) of Aviston, Koreen "Kori" Voss (Don) of Breese, Kelly Kampwerth (Michael) and Kurt Rakers (Kim) of Aviston; her grandchildren, Kelsey Peppenhorst (Kory), Ryan Johnson (Emily), Maisie Allen (Nathan), Maxwel Kampwerth (Jordan Stiegman), Grant Oster (Brynne Luebbers), Marcis Kampwerth (Erica Schomaker), Lacey Voss, Myles Kampwerth (Austyn Jansen), Reagan Oster, Kaden Rakers and Kylie Rakers; her great grandchildren, Kynli, Kamdyn, Kellyn Peppenhorst, Oakley Johnson and Baby Johnson; her siblings, Rita Jackson (Jim), Richard Schulte (Karen) and Roland Schulte (Terri); and her siblings-in-law, Alice Schulte, Mary O'Brien, Jerome Rakers (Edna), Howard Rakers (Marilou), Tony Jr. Rakers (Mary) and Joe Heinzmann. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and many special friends.
In lieu of flowers and other gifts, memorials made in memory of Ruth Mary are suggested to Central Community High School-PAWS or to the Donors choice and will be received at Nordike Funeral Home, PO Box 157, Aviston, IL 62216.
