She was predeceased by: her father Ralph C.; her nephew Allen Helldoerfer; her father-in-law Robert Blaies; and her close friend Norma Niemeyer. She is survived by: her husband Greg Blaies of Bluebeard's Castle; her daughter Emily Wetzel (Ryan) of St. Charles, MO; her stepdaughter Brittany Peterein (Michael) of Festus, MO; her grandchildren, Luke and Clare Wetzel; her stepgrandchildren, Aubrey and Hannah Peterein; her siblings, Mary Kay Helldoerfer (David) of St. Louis, Gerald "Butch" Jansen of Bartelso, Carl Jansen (Denice) of Germantown, Mike Jansen (Portia) of Breese, Brenda Stephens (Gary) of Mansfield, TX, Kevin Jansen of Breese and Colleen "Cooky" Kuhl (Jim) of Breese; her mother-in-law Carol (Blaies); her siblings-in-law, Susan Etherton (Douglas) of LeRoy, Shelley Miller (Chris) of O'Fallon and Jeffrey Blaies (Shelly) of Edwardsville; and her close friend Charles Niemeyer of Bradenton, FL. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
