It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Michael Yeager (Aviston, Illinois), born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, who passed away on March 8, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Yeager and Mary Yeager (O'Leary) of Cape Girardeau; and his sister Patricia Yeager of Arizona. He is survived by: his wife Linda Yeager (Boettcher) of Freeburg, IL.; his children, Samantha Yeager (Kristopher) of Columbia and Nicholas Yeager of Freeburg, IL.; his siblings, Judy Zerr (Rick) of St Charles, MO, Raymond "Hank" Yeager Jr. (Jane) of Arizona and Barbara Manning (Steve) of Arizona; his mother-in-law Carol Boettcher of Belleville, IL.; and his siblings-in-law, Nancy Clark of Milton, Judy Boettcher of Fairview Heights, IL, David Boettcher (Karla) of Belleville and Daniel Boettcher of Belleville. He is also survived by 28 nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and a great-great niece.
