It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Etta May Eaton of Aviston, Illinois, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on November 6, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh and Alma; her siblings, Alma Louise Duvall and Hugh E. Becker; her parents-in-law, Barton Eaton and Lue Eaton; and her siblings-in-law, Ora Eaton, Billie Ruth Hallock and Jim Hallock.
She is survived by: her children, Bart Eaton (Karen) of Fenton, MO, Tim Eaton (Dinah) of Kerrville, TX, Jeff Eaton (Lucy) of Steeleville and Jan Kapp (Roger) of Fairview Heights; her grandchildren, Evan Eaton, Chance Eaton, Alyssa Stolze (Alan), Richard Kapp and Joseph Kapp; her great grandchild Adler Stolze; her brother William Becker (Diane) of Red Bud; and her siblings-in-law, Janet Becker of Percy, Ruth Eaton of Jackson, MO and Ed Duvall of St. Louis.
To ensure safety, masks must be worn and social distance maintained at the service.
Memorials may be made to Aviston Countryside Manor Activity Department, Steeleville Baptist Church, and First Baptist Church of Cutler and will be received through Moss Funeral Home, who is serving the family (535 N. 5th St., Breese, IL 62230).
