He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward F. Woltering and Elizabeth "Alice" Woltering (Sprehe); his granddaughter Alyssa Woltering; his sister Diane Kahrhoff; his parents-in-law, Richard and Evelyn Hawkins; and his siblings-in-law, Stan McKinney, Herb Kahrhoff, Mike Hawkins, Shirley Muggleston and Darla Hawkins.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Hawkins; his children, Jeff Woltering (Nancy), Shelly Albers (Tom) and Matt Woltering (Amy); his stepson Travis Hill; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn (Jaron Seiffert), Kaylee, Shawn Albers, Brock Woltering, Hannah, Madisyn and Austin Woltering; his great grandchild Ava Seiffert; his sisters, Carol McKinney and Shirley Detmer (Gary); and his sisters-in-law, Judy Riggs and Leslie Hawkins. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers and other gifts, memorials in memory of Dennis are suggested to Aviston American Legion, Jared Burke Foundation, or the Vietnam Veterans Chapter 269 and will be received at Nordike Funeral Home, PO Box, 157, Aviston, IL 62216.
