It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond A. Powell of Aurora, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on February 16, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Powell and Vincenta Powell (Raila). He is survived by: his wife Virginia; his sister Lorraine (Anthony DeGrazia); his children, Steven (Dara), Bennett (Carin), Andrew (Nicole), Jennifer (Darrin Halcomb) and Daniel; and his grandchildren, Halley, Sammy, Abigail, Thomas, Tessa and Emmett. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
