It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deborah S. Szymanski of Aurora, Illinois, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on August 22, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her brothers, Barry E. Smith (Gerri Pevril) and L. Steven Smith; and her mother Maxine Smith. She is survived by: her husband Richard W. Szymanski; her sons, Steven S. Szymanski (Diana) of Wheaton, IL and Scott J. Szymanski (Kelly) of Oswego, IL.; and her father Lyle Smith.

“Dear Rich, I am so sorry you have to experience this unbearable grief pain at what I consider a young, older age. Unless I can bring Debby back to you there are no comforting words. I totally turned to God for help and joined a Griefshare class to be with people going through the same thing. You will still wake up every morning with an empty space next to you.
