He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Schopp and Mathilda Schopp (Heimanz); and his siblings, Donald, Wayne, Sharon Adams, Rose Chesselow and John "Jack".
He is survived by: his wife Christine (Kaad); his children, Dan Schopp of Aurora, Debbie Schick (John) of Plainfield and David Schopp (Diana) of Hinckley; and his siblings, Patricia Rouse of Tennessee, Ronald of Aurora, Earl (Kathy) of Kentucky and Ed of Aurora. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
