He was predeceased by: his parent Edward J.. He is survived by: his wife Betty Ann Carpenter (Ormon); his children, Cheryl A. Carpenter-Emery (Russ) of Concord, CA, John F. Carpenter, Jr. of Venice, FL, Kevin P. Carpenter (Kathleen) of Randolph, Joseph E. Carpenter (Cynthia) of Leicester and Daniel S. Carpenter of Auburn; his sisters, Mary A. Hanrahan of Worcester and Helen Carpenter; his sister-in-law Maureen Carpenter of Worcester; his brothers, Joseph E. Carpenter, Edward J. Carpenter, Jr., Thomas P. Carpenter, James M. Carpenter and George V. Carpenter; and his parent Helen A. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

AUBURN: John F. Carpenter, 82, died early Friday morning, September 28, 2018 at St. Mary Health Care Center in Worcester, after a long struggle with Alzheimer's Disease.
