He was predeceased by: his son Nathaniel Keegan Edwards; and his father A. L. Golightly. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Edwards (Suzy) of Arthur; his children, Ian D. Edwards of Mattoon, Alexandra (Kate) of Arthur, Steven of Arthur and Kenzie Edwards of Arthur; his mother Glenda Josleyn Golightly Edwards of Sullivan; and his stepfather Dr. Ian Keith Edwards.
