Nova E. Thompson Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nova E. Thompson in Arlington Heights, Illinois, born in Great Bend, Kansas, who passed away on August 17, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Garner (Dink) and Nora Garner; her husband Dr. Emmanuel Thompson; and her siblings, Carrie, James, Dink, Ward, Amos and Silas.

She is survived by: her children, Anthony Thompson (Mary) of Hawthorn Woods and Angela Warrick (Julian) of North Potomac, Maryland; her grandchildren, Aria Warrick, Alyssa Warrick-Glover, Andrew and Jonathan Thompson; and her great grandchildren, Gabriel and Josephine Glover.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Sisters of the Living Word (donate.slw.org) or the Greater Chicago Food Bank (chicagofoodbank.org).
