It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kenneth M. Mitchell of Arlington Heights, Illinois, born in Ford, Kansas, who passed away on June 22, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Mitchell and Mildred Roberts Mitchell; his parents-in-law, Francis and Ruth Houlihan; his siblings, Dwight, Melvin, Raymond, Rosie and Romona; and his grandson Bradley Philipp.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley Houlihan; his children, Scott Mitchell and Kimberly Philipp (Kenneth); his grandson Brian Philipp; and his brother-in-law Martin Houlihan (Janice). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
