He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Boldt and Esther Boldt (Pogeman). He is survived by: his children, Eric Boldt of Indianapolis, IN, Valerie Cannon (Richard) of Freeport and Susan Finifrock (Daniel) of Freeport; his grandchildren, Jayden Cannon and Mikayla Morales; and his siblings, Jeff Boldt (Cathy) of Stockton and Connie Townsend (Barry) of Byron, IL..

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for the Stockton FFA.
