He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Jr. Zimmerman and Emma Zimmerman; his former wife Marilyn Clemmons; his sisters, Mary and Jean; and his wife Cheryl Miller.
He is survived by: his children, Leslie Emerson of Marysville, WA, Tim Zimmerman (Jennifer) of Antioch, IL, Craig Zimmerman (Patty) of Silver Lake, WI and Jennifer Zimmerman of Antioch, IL; his grandchildren, Robert Plett, Casey Clark (Ben), Brandon Rockenbach, Zak Ayoub, Ava Ayoub, Summer Ayoub, Aurora Zimmerman, Max Zimmerman, Cooper Zimmerman, Kyle Jastrab, Carson Zimmerman, Knox Zimmerman, Christian Klie and Lacie Klie; his great grandchildren, Alexandria Clark and Rosalie Plett; his former wife Marilyn Zimmerman; and his pet Trixy. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
