He was predeceased by: his parents, Claud C. Douglas and Birdie Douglas (Bunch); his daughter Lisa Hess; and his brothers, Clyde Douglas (Opal), Raymond Douglas (Doris) and Clark Douglas (Laura).

He is survived by: his wife Darlene Douglas; his daughter Tanya Womick (Ted); his grandsons, Tyler Hess (Sara) and Jacob Hess (Allie); his stepgrandchildren, Jeremiah Womick (Jodi) and Jessie Wells (Herman); his great grandchildren, Liam and Holden Hess; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Jack Womick, Sophia and Blake Wells. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

A graveside service was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Anna Cemetery (608 E Davie St, Anna, IL 62906). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the Anna-Jonesboro Elks Lodge #1641 (427 E Jefferson St, Anna, IL 62906).
