She was predeceased by: her parents, Vaughn Pointer and Ruth Horton Pointer; her husband Eugene Bennett (Gene); and her siblings, Barbara Breitweiser, Jeanne Stouffe, Wanda Harris, Shirley Heyen and Farrell Pointer.
She is survived by: her brother Jerry Pointer of Springfield. She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces.
Memorials may be made to the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church of Medora.
