He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Hayes and Grace Hayes (White); his sister Marilyn DeRuiter (Susie); and his daughter Patricia Jane Hayes. He is survived by: his wife Judith Hayes (Cobb); his brother Robert "Gus" Hayes; his sons, Michael Hayes (Alice) and Greg Hayes (Valerie); and his granddaughters, Hallie, Caroline and Caty Jane.
