He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Haar and Shirley Haar (Weaver); his sister Karla; and his brother-in-law Robert Feltes. He is survived by: his children, Katie (Scott Lucas), Kari (Christopher Pinkard) and Keith Haar of Alton; his grandchildren, Lorali, Ashton, Cullen Pinkard and Lucy Lucas; and his siblings, Paul Haar (Mary Beth) of Alton, Mary Jo Sackman (Don) of Atlanta and Phyllis Meredith (Terry) of Godfrey.

Memorials may be given to the Disabled American Veterans, in care of Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville, who is charge of the arrangements.
