It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John David Young (Alton, Illinois), born in Parma, Missouri, who passed away on February 12, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John V. Young and Laura Gwendolyn "Daisy" Young (Powell); and his sisters, Reba Young, Betty Beaird and Suzanne Griggs.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Jean Dowthitt; his children, Becky Winslow (Kenny) of Springfield and John Young Jr. of Brighton; his grandchildren, Cash Young, Oliver Young, Hailey Winslow, Abby Winslow, Drew Winslow and Alaina Winslow; and his sister Joy Corlew of Godfrey.
