He was predeceased by: his parents, Dwight Cox and Betty Lee Cox (Smith). He is survived by: his wife Brenda; his son Jim Cox (Patricia) of Brighton; his grandchildren, Matthew Cox, Rachelle Wright (John) and Taylor Cox; his great grandchild Ava Mae Wright; and his siblings-in-law, Harold Scates (Mary) and Shirley Cartwright. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and good friends.
