She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis W. Shuttleworth and Mildred Shuttleworth (Mahier); her husband Everett Deon Banks; her former husband Joseph Oscar Ruyle; her son Robert Ruyle; and her siblings, Robert Shuttleworth and Betty Lu Frazier.
She is survived by: her son Joseph Ruyle (Mary) of Alton; her daughter-in-law Christine Ruyle of Brighton; her grandchildren, Joey, James, Matthew and Jennifer; her great grandchildren, Jayden, Colton and Landon; and her sister Evelyn Cruthis of Alton.
