He is survived by: his parents, Edward N. "Sonny" Hatten Jr. (Suzanne) of Alton and Brenda Dale of Alton; his siblings, Jonathan Hatten (Amber) of Alton and Virginia Hatten Yost (Chad) of Alton; and his nephews, Keegan, Kameren Hatten, Denver and Aaron Yost.

Memorials may be made to Abundant Church in Alton.
