It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dale Raymond (Alton, Illinois), who passed away on October 19, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dale Raymond to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter A. Raymond and Dorothy June Raymond (Christians); his wife Marjorie Cooper; and his son Todd Mertz. He is survived by: his brother Richard Raymond of Alton; his children, Julie Huppert (Scott Fennewald) of East Alton, Mark (Rhonda Mertz) and Brad Mertz of Flets Mills; and his grandchildren, Danny Mertz, Kyle Mertz, Shawn Mertz, Kristen Mertz, Connor Huppert, Ella Huppert, Emily Huppert and Rick Skiff (Mandy). He is also survived by eight great grandchildren, and many other extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Roxana Police Auxillary or Backstoppers.
