He was predeceased by: his parents, Mark Volger and Mary Riker (Smith) of Alton; and his brothers, Derick Volger and Damon Volger. He is survived by: his stepfather Kevin Riker; his brother Jason Volger of Alton; and his uncles, Darrell Smith (Marti), Greg Smith and Don Smith (Sheri). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the Boys and Girls Club of Alton.
