He was predeceased by: his parents, Clem Bloemer and Elizabeth Bloemer (Bushur); and his brothers, Ray Bloemer (Dorothy), Anthony Bloemer (Betty), Bernard Bloemer (Marie) and Henry Bloemer.
He is survived by: his wife Bernadine Brauer; his children, Vera Lynn Schroeder (Wayne) of Altamont and Daniel Ray Bloemer (Patti Young) of Effingham; his grandchildren, Nathan Schroeder (Tosha), Hannah Walker (Troy), Rachel Booher (Dylan), Dana Palmer (Hakeem Abiodun) and Tyler Bloemer (Marissa); and his great grandchildren, Ethan, Logan Schroeder, Morgan Ruppel (Eric), Reagan, Kinley Walker, Mabry, Keller Booher, Jade, Sky, Bryce, Cody Bloemer, Zion and Selah Abiodun.
