She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Smith and Frances Smith (Rose); her husband Samuel Thompson; and her sisters, Jean Seaton and Ruth Youngman.
She is survived by: her children, Bruce Thompson (Karen) of Fort Branch, IN, John Thompson (Martha) of Cape Girardeau, MO, Jay Thompson (Margaret) of Mount Carmel, Clyde Thompson (Tammy) of St. Francisville, IL, Janet Ray (CD) of St. Francisville, IL, Mary Sweppy (Tony) of St. Francisville, IL and Gerry McCully (Mark) of St. Joseph, MO.. She is also survived by her family and friends.
