Verna Marie DeClerck Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Verna Marie DeClerck of Aledo, Illinois, who passed away on April 11, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Hampton and Ruth Hampton (Whitehall); her husband Charles DeClerck; and her siblings, Don, John Hampton, Mary Cameron and Delores Anderson.
She is survived by: her children, Joann Soper (George), Donna Lloyd (Larry Martin) and Steve DeClerck (Cathy); and her sisters, Elaine Rommel, Joyce Hill and Janet Brinkman. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, St. Catherine's Catholic Church or the Mercer County Historical Society.
