We are sad to announce that on January 9, 2024, at the age of 95, Phyllis F. Batson of Aledo, Illinois, born in Braceville, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Matthew Reay and Florence Reay (Brooks); her husband Robert C. Batson (Bob); her siblings, Lenore Burkhardt (Roy), Thomas Reay (Agnes) and Matthew Reay (Evelyn); her brother-in-law George Batson (Audrey); and her nephew David Batson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Paula Gustafson (Steve) of Orion, Pamela Ferguson (Sam) of Palatine and Lillian Batson of Aledo; her grandchildren, Scott, Elizabeth and Darcy Gustafson; her children, Joseph Ferguson (Carrie) and Laura Rivas (Miguel); and her great grandchildren, Roman Lee, Grayson, Willem Gustafson, Dylan Baumbach, Cashel, Serena Ferguson, Samuel and Regina Rivas.
Memorials may be made to the Aledo United Methodist Church or the Viola Public Library.
