With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Lou McCreight of Aledo, Illinois, born in Buffalo Prairie, Illinois, who passed away on December 27, 2022 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Schmidt and Kathryn Schmidt (Sullivan); her spouse C. Dean McCreight; and her siblings, Mildred McQuady, Dale Schmidt, Raymond Schmidt, Vera Kadel and Lois.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sherie (Randy Sackville) of Aledo and Pam (Tony Myers) of Aledo; her grandchildren, Kelly and Jason Kellett; her sons-in-law, Lindsay, Rob McKay (Amanda) and Ben Miller (Brandi); her great grandchildren, Evan, Carson, Cameron and Easton "Squeak" Kellett; and her grandchildren, Lexi, Bryn McKay, Ceola and Townsend Miller.
Memorials may be made to the Mercer County VFW or the Aledo Fire Department.
