With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Laura Gowdy of Aledo, Illinois, who passed away on March 15, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Gowdy and Cora Gowdy; her brothers, Robert and Billy Joe; and her nephew Michael Clark.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Leitha Gowdy; her nephew Doug Gowdy (Theresa); and her nieces, Denise Clark and Anne Gowdy. She is also survived by 10 great-nieces and nephews, 25 great-great nieces and nephews.
