He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Bockman and Catherine Bockman (Shephard); his stepparents, Pauline Bockman and Gerald Ryerson; and his stepbrother Gene Tucker.

He is survived by: his wife Tommie; his children, Edward Bockman of Galesburg and Catherine Bockman (Joseph Stanbary) of Edgewater; and his half-brother Thomas Ryerson (Deb) of Isabella, MO..

Memorials may be made to St. Catherine's Catholic Church or the Mercer County Senior Center.
