He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia Hofer; his son Randy; and his brother Glenn. He is survived by: his daughter Kristie; his son-in-law Ron Murdock of Monmouth; his grandchildren, Lindsay, Jake and Mollie Murdock; and his great grandchild Easton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Aledo Main Street; Mercer County Historical Society or to Edward Jones (for Easton's Education).
