She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Appell and Dorothy Jane Appell (Paulsgrove) of Galva; and her son Cory Chinlund. She is survived by: her husband Fran; her daughter Carrie Alter; her grandchildren, Daniel (Cassie), Donavan (Sara), Victoria and Dalton; her great grandchildren, Jace, Willow, Charlotte, Waylon, Rayven and Tobias; her sister Vickie Nixon (Carl); and her sisters-in-law, Nancy Gerst (Melvin) and Barbara Gerst.
