He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Lovedy and Dorothy Stacy Lovedy. He is survived by: his former wife Bonnie Jean King; his stepdaughter Tammy; his wife Sandra Kroeger; his son Eddie; and his close friend Shirley. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was a member of the Arbor Day Foundation.
