He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Muir and Emma Muir (Utzinger). He is survived by: his wife Nancy Carol Johnson; his sons, John Muir of Noblesville, Carl Muir (Leigh) of Noblesville and Brian Muir of Rock Island; his grandchildren, Ashley, Zak, Madison, Zach, Avary and Liam; his great grandchildren, Grace, Parker and Maddux; and his sisters, Barbara Glisan of Bushnell and Martha Paul (Larry) of Lexington.
