She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Neil; her son Mark; and her sisters, Edna and Inez. She is survived by: her daughters, Gale Backe-Britt (Blanton Britt), Deborah Penn (Kenny Landry) and Susan Butler (Kris); and her grandchildren, Stephen (Bella), Brandon (Dana), Tommy, Andy Britt, Lindsay (Luke), Brook Blakley, Ashley (Tim Wilson) and Eric (Tricia Butler). She is also survived by wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
