He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Barden and Grace Barden; his sister Sandra Boone; his brother-in-law Duane "Tude" Young; his niece Marcie Dale; and his nephew Michael Dale.

He is survived by: his spouse Vickey Lea Sines; his daughters, Deborah Nordling (Roger) and Jessica Barden (Craig) of St. Maries, ID.; his grandchildren, Sadie, Shelbi, Brody and Liberty; his great grandchildren, Cedence, Teagan and Tatum; and his siblings, Bonnie Young and Daniel Barden (Debra).
