She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Simons and Gertrude Simons (Adams); her husband Bob Swallows; and her siblings, Peggy Haeg and Edgar Simons.
She is survived by: her friends, Ken, Helen, Betty and Bob Swallows; and her sons, Steve Swallows (Laurie) of Green Valley, AZ, Douglas Swallows (Terri) of Long Beach, WA and Keith Swallows (Nichole) of St. Maries, ID.. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers or gifts the family would like donations in Betty's name to go to any hospice house.
