It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Ray Rasmussen of Rupert, Idaho, who passed away on November 4, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ronald Ray Rasmussen to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Seth Ray and Maxine Jean Hedstrom Rasmussen; and his wife Faye Rasmussen. He is survived by: his sister Jeaneen Curtis (Ryan) of Boise; his nephews, Justin Curtis and Steven Curtis (Amanda) of Boise; his stepgrandchildren, Taylor Muzatko, Kody Miller, Madison Muzatko and Kate Butcher; and also, Bonnie West, Suzette Miller (Johnny), Laura Muzatko (Mark) and Angela Butcher (Aaron).
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Rasmussen-Wilson Funeral Home (1350 E 16th St, Burley, ID 83318). A graveside service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Rupert Cemetery (450 N Meridian, Rupert, ID 83350).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests, in memory of Ron R. Rasmussen, memorials be directed to the Minidoka Animal Shelter Trust, 624 F Street, Rupert, ID 83350.
