It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Duane M. Bessire (Rupert, Idaho), born in Twin Falls, Idaho, who passed away on June 6, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Allen Bessire and Phyllis June Boley; and his brother Maylon Boley Bessire (M. B.). He is survived by: his sibling Falls; his sons, Fred Barrus, Parker Arritt and Jack Schab; his wife Carole Ann of Rupert; his children, Stephanie Mecham (Kris) of Draper, Utah, Kelly Bessire (JoAnn) of Rupert and Kevan Bessire (Karlyn) of Rupert; his grandchildren, Carianne Moore (Charles), Camille Torgerson (KC), Heidi Phillips (Brian), Michael Mecham (Ashley), Matthew Mecham (Tessa), Brody Bessire (Hanni), MicKenzie Baker (Trevor), Ashley McKenzie (Trenton), Kamy Fuller (Allan), JaNae Young (Zachary), Kurtis Bessire (Melissa), Jacob Bessire (Samantha) and Katelyn Conkel (Jacob); and his siblings, Glenn Bessire of Murtaugh, Dee Crawford (Monty) of Hayden Lake, Scott Bessire (Sandy) of Washington, Susie Foster (Kent) of Meridian and Sadie Breeding (Glen) of Kimberly. He is also survived by 34 great-grandchildren.
