He is survived by: his siblings, Carrie Lindsey, Candy Reeder, Wendy Roobol and Joseph Hamel; his brothers-in-law, Ray Lindsey and Chris Roobol; his parents, Lovetta Hamel and Rod Chamberlain; and his adoptive parent Vern Hamel. He is also survived by 11 nephews, 1 niece; several great nephews and nieces.
