She was predeceased by: her parents, James Raymond Powell and Agnes Pearl Terry; her spouse Merle Parkinson; her siblings, Rulon, Wendell, Seth, Gerald, Verla, Eloise and Phyllis; her son-in-law Jerry Weimer (Vicky); and her grandsons, Jayce Steven Price and Jason Merle Parkinson.
She is survived by: her children, Vicky Weimer of Coeur, Alene, Corine DeTurk (Jerry), Randy Parkinson (Renée) of Plano, Lyle Parkinson (Vicki) of Boise and Merlynn Price (Steve) of Plano; and her siblings, Thon, LaVar, Leon, Don Powell and Shirley Lewis. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, almost 43 great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren.
Evelyn Powell Parkinson, 95, passed from this life peacefully on Tuesday, December 31, 2019, in Rexburg, Idaho at the Homestead Assisted Living Center surrounded by loved ones.
