She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvel Griffin and Marcus R. Cooley, Jr.; her husband David Eugene Benton; her daughter Ann Benton Rogers; and her sons-in-law, Roland Farnsworth and Carl Robbins.
She is survived by: her children, Dorothy McCarty (Ray), Susan Farnsworth, Barbara Baker (Gregg) of Idaho Falls and David Benton (Kristy) of Gilbert, Arizona; her siblings, Audrey Fowler and Noel Cooley; and her aunt Marie Cooley Johnson. She is also survived by 34 grandchildren; and 79 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
