He is survived by: his wife Janice Ann Johnson; his children, Nancy Prescott, Michael VanderKooi, Scott VanderKooi (Gina), Stacey VanderKooi and Rebecca Nelson (Anthony); his brother Mark VanderKooi (Jean); and his brother-in-law Russell Johnson (Kimberly Burleigh). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren with one more great-grandchild.
