He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rolland "Critch" Christensen and Iris May White; his siblings, Tom Christensen (Carol) of Blackfoot, Idaho, William "Bill" Christensen (Gayle) of Portland, Oregon, MaryAnn Christensen of Pocatello, Idaho, Gracie Brown (Les) of Elko, Nevada, Susie Christensen of Ogden, Utah and Robert Christensen (Tami) of Ruth, Nevada.; his close friend Linett Scott; his children, Kirsten Hawes (Todd) of Farr West, Utah, Eric Christensen (Annette) of Las Vegas, Nevada, Phillip Christensen (Stephanie) of Almo, Idaho and Emily Vidrine (Nathan) of Las Vegas, Nevada.; and his grandchildren, Dallin, Cormick (Brenna), Amberly, Conner, Amelia, Jedediah, Avery, Ainzley, Eugene, Oliver, Orson, Rolland and Elbert.

He had fought a long battle against Parkinson's Disease but succumbed and died peacefully.
