He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth St. Clair and George Metz; his siblings, Teola Truchot, Eula Peyope, Glen E. Marshall, George Marshall Jr., Wayne Metz, George Metz Jr., Kermit Metz and Robert Metz; and his grandson Thayne Metz.
He is survived by: his wife Ella Mae; his children, Cynthia Metz of Pocatello, ID, Sterling Metz of Fort Hall, ID, Michelle Metz of Pocatello, ID, Conrad Metz of Pocatello, ID and Mitzi Metz of Blackfoot, ID; and his brothers, Delano Metz of Ross Fork and Roderick Pokibro. He is also survived by many grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
