He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Borstelman and Maggie Borstelman (Whittaker); and his parents-in-law, Marion Beattie and Goldie Beattie (Allen). He is survived by: his wife Leona Borstelman; his children, Shawna Ruiz (Lance Ruiz), Cody Borstelman, Lance Borstelman and Dustin Borstelman; his brother Clifford Borstelman; and his siblings-in-law, Betty Smith, Robert Beattie, LeRoy Beattie and Karen Eisenbeis. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
