It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Powers (Pocatello, Idaho), born in Malta, Idaho, who passed away on July 22, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Andrew Robert "Babe" Powers and Bessie Ellen Powers; his grandsons, Daryl, Dillon and Derek; his great grandchild Ashton; his wife Sherry; his children, Jeffrey Powers and Stephanie Downing; his siblings, Ron Powers (Carol) and Tammy Kelley (Clark); his siblings-in-law, Jim Petersen (Iris) and Carol Egbert (Bill); and also, Bradley and Patrick. He was also cherished by five grandchildren (all boys); one great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
